As of August 1, 2010, the Division of ABC has reversed earlier interpretations of State statute that formerly allowed liquor retailers to host tastings in adjacent party shops or tasting rooms.

K.A.R. 14-13-13(j) provides: "A retailer shall not permit the drinking of alcoholic liquors or cereal malt beverage in, on, or about the licensed premises."
